About Us
Bell Donor Management was founded in late 2008 by Helen Wasey, Johanna Wright and John Speed, who have all been involved in the area of donor management over the past 5 years with Bell Fundraising Limited, a company founded in 2003 by Helen Wasey and her sister, the late Willemina Bell. Bell Fundraising focused primarily on Consortium Management and the process of recruiting donors. However they soon realised that effective donor management systems were required to make their company a success for its charity clients.
In order to facilitate this, they sought the expertise of John Speed, who created a database which would allow them to do this effectively. The system we use is constantly upgraded based on our experience of the sector, so we can offer an ever more efficient system, so we can increase the cost effectiveness of the overall process, thus increasing your profitability.
Johanna Wright joined Bell Fundraising in 2004 after working for the Professional Fundraising Organisation; Sharing the Caring. Jo’s experience in payroll giving has been invaluable making this service effective for charities.
With the experience gained in running a successful donor management system for Bell Fundraising it was decided by those involved to offer this service to more charities, so that they can benefit from our expertise.
